Makiah is one of three grandchilden who turns 8 this year, joining Neo who already turned 8 earlier this year and Naomi who will turn 8 next month.
We celebrated Makiah's birthday today with a party. She wanted a theme from the movie, Frozen, so that's what she got.

| ...lighting and blowing out a candle... |

| ...cutting and serving birthday cake... |
 |
| ...eating ice cream and cake... |

| ...and swimming. |

| Eventually it was time for everybody to get out of the pool and go home. |
