Debra and I woke up this morning to cool breezes, partly sunny and partly cloudy skies, and two bicycles that have been sitting idle for too long.
So we went for a bike ride.
Our pace was mostly leisurely with a few breaks. After about an hour-and-a-half, we covered 13.01 miles and burned 638 calories, according to MapMyRide.
Debra and I chased our shadows along a bicycle trail that runs parallel to the freeway between Talent and Medford . Southbound I-5 is on the other side of the chain link fence. |
Near Phoenix, we took a break. |
At U.S.Cellular Community Park in Medford, we decided to turn around and return home. |
Sounds like a nice way to spend the morning!
