ONE DOZEN PUMPKIN PATCH TRIPS

Today the Weathersbys and I went on a pumpkin patch and corn maze trip for the twelfth time in the past thirteen years.  It was our fourth consecutive year at Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm.

We arrived there shortly after they opened at 10:00 a.m. and we stayed for five hours.  By the time we left, nobody was bored.  But I had promised Naomi that she and I would go on a bicycle ride, just the two of us, after returning from our pumpkin patch trip.  Silas and I had already done a six-mile ride yesterday and today it was Naomi's turn.  We covered over four miles.

Then we returned to the house to watch TV and eat ice cream.

A great weekend!

  1. 5 hours at the pumpkin patch AND a bike ride!? I would have needed a big ol' nap between the two! It looks like a good time was had by all! The kids are getting so big!
